When German rap had not yet arrived in the mainstream, Alligatoah was the most sought-after act in a hip-hop forum called rappers.in and brought his first songs to the people. A good five years later, he gave the entire nation a catchy tune with "Willst Du", which is still going strong today.
The multi-instrumentalist has performed on almost every major stage in the country and slips into a wide variety of roles in his art to deal with social issues, prejudices and everyday situations. His lyrics are peppered with irony and tongue-in-cheek - the man is an artist through and through. After his last show in spring 2023, he will soon be visiting us again in Zurich - Alligatoah returns to THE HALL on Friday, 24 January 2025!
