In 2013, he made his international breakthrough almost overnight with his stunning album "Liquid Spirit". Since then, Gregory Porter, the giant with the balloon cap and the room-filling baritone voice, has been the most successful jazz singer ever. Porter's music is sensual, as timeless as it is current, and goes far beyond chic retro nostalgia. His idols are Nat King Cole, Nina Simone and Leon Thomas, but his love of black music in the tradition of Marvin Gaye is also palpable at all times. A stunning singer who stands with both feet in the here and now, but at the same time cultivates the heritage of classic jazz and soul. On Saturday, 10 June 2023, he will play an exclusive concert at the Hall in Zurich, not to be missed!
