Nils Frahm
When it comes to defining the space between classical and electronic music, hardly any other name is mentioned as often as that of Berlin-based pianist, composer and producer Nils Frahm.

With his unconventional and at the same time intimate and familiar approach to a centuries-old instrument, Frahm was able to win over fans worldwide. He also achieved fame through his pronounced sense of reduction, control and the breathtaking emotionality and personality that he brings to his playing.

Numerous tours and concerts around the globe have cemented his reputation as an exceptional instrumentalist and fascinating live musician. His albums are internationally acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, and his live concerts are regularly sold out.

In 2022, Nils Frahm released his critically acclaimed, extensive new album Music For Animals: with ten tracks and a length of over three hours, it is an ambitious and captivating work that is unlike anything Nils has released before.

In June 2022, his programme celebrated its world premiere at the Sydney Opera House for his current world tour "Music For". Since then, he has been touring the world, presenting new music that moves between the worlds of experimental, ambient and electronica.

On 3 October 2024, you can experience the avant-garde composer, producer, pianist and fascinating live artist Nils Frahm at Casino Bern. One day later, on 4 October at THE HALL Zurich.
