After featuring on Drake's single ‘Chicago Freestyle’, he achieved his international breakthrough in 2020, which he confirmed with his smash hit ‘Heartbreak Anniversary’ in the same year. The song now has over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify and 457 million views on YouTube, and has been certified six times platinum in the USA. In 2021, his feature on Justin Bieber's hit ‘Peaches’ made the singer even more famous with his emotional and powerful baritone voice and heralded an enormously successful period for GIVĒON. With two EPs and two albums as well as several collaborations, the singer has been nominated for a total of seven Grammys since 2020. His current album ‘BELOVED’ was released in July 2025 and reached #8 on the Billboard charts. Following its spectacular finale at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden in March 2026, GIVĒON's Dear Beloved The Tour is also coming to Europe, where he will perform in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Zurich with Sasha Keable and Baby Rose as support acts, promising a magical experience.
GIVĒON (aka Giveon Dezmann Evans) was born in Long Beach, California, and discovered his passion for music and singing as a child. After participating in a music education programme at the Grammy Museum, he became fascinated with Frank Sinatra and Barry White at the age of 18, who, along with genres such as R&B, jazz and soul, had a significant influence and inspiration on him. With the idea of bringing this music into the modern sphere, he released his debut single ‘Garden Kiss’ on SoundCloud in 2018 and was discovered by Epic Records, who signed him. After further singles, including ‘Like I Want You’ in 2019, GIVĒON's biggest hit to date followed in 2020 with ‘Heartbreak Anniversary’. The song reached number 3 on the US R&B charts and served as the lead single from his debut EP ‘TAKE TIME’, which also reached the top 5 of the US R&B charts and number 35 on the Billboard 200 in 2020.
In October of that year, he released his second EP, When It's All Said And Done, featuring the US platinum-certified single Stuck On You. In 2021, he won a BET Award for Best New Artist, was nominated for a Grammy for TAKE TIME, and released another hit song, For Tonight. In 2022, he was nominated for four Grammys and four MTV VMAs for his feature on Justin Bieber's song ‘Peaches’, while his song ‘Heartbreak Anniversary’ was also nominated for Best R&B Song at both awards ceremonies. This was followed in 2022 by the singles ‘Lie Again’ and ‘Lost Me’ and the accompanying debut album ‘Give or Take’, with which he toured Europe in 2023. After the standalone singles ‘Time’ (2022) and ‘The First Noel’ (2023), GIVĒON followed up with “TWENTIES”, the lead single from his second album ‘BELOVED’, which will take him on another world tour in 2026, set to be the best of his career so far: ‘I want strings, I want horns, I want background vocals, so I have an eight to ten-piece band. The album is like a film, it's a world, and I want those nights to feel exactly the same.’
