After almost one and a half years of THE HALL (formerly Samsung Hall), a second place at the Swiss Location Awards 2018 in the event halls category and around 300 events held in the new venue, it is high time to celebrate: HOMECOMING. A celebration for our partners and customers, as a thank you for our collaboration, and a return to THE HALL to experience new facets of the venue.
The focus of the summer evening was our culinary concept "Kitchen of Emotions". Inspired by the true centre of the home: the kitchen; a space full of emotions and dazzling stories, created in a convivial gathering with family and friends. Because you know what they say: the best parties always take place in the kitchen.
Our culinary team prepared our favourite dishes live at various stations. For example, Misoyaki black cod, 72-hour short ribs, Parmesan cheese pasta with wild broccoli, home-smoked salmon served on a platter and San Daniele cured ham from the Berkel slicer. The dessert variations also brought smiles to the guests' faces.
The evening was hosted by the friendly Dutch service employee Ruud van Bimmelen. Fredinko's work of art will find a special place in THE HALL and will remind us of this beautiful evening for a long time to come. What's special about this painting is that every visitor has added to it.
